and would like to make new friends - you'll enjoy traveling with us!
Traveling in a group lets you sit back and relax while someone else
takes care of finding the best places to stay, dine and visit in a
new destination. We've done all the homework so you won't have to! Group
travel does require that you enjoy traveling with others and that you
are also tolerant of the occasional changes, delays or minor mishaps
that are part of any kind of travel. While we will do our best to see
to individual needs, their principal concern must be the welfare of
the group as a whole.
Get Up and Go Gals Connections
When you travel with us, you'll enjoy sharing adventures with fun, like-minded
travelers connected to Get Up and Go Gals who are also interested in
lifelong learning through travel. Where appropriate, the Get Up and Go
Gals adds lecturers, travel hosts, special events and other useful travel
information.
Our Tour Operator
Get Up and Go Gals is traveling on this tour with the Globus Family of
tour companies; Globus, Cosmos, Brennan Vacations, Avalon Waterways and
Monograms. (See www.globusfamily.com). We will from time to time
travel with other cruise and tour companies.

Tour Costs
Costs are based on the lowest per-person rates. They are
based on double occupancy, current exchange rates and tariffs.
Single Rooms
Most of our tours offer a limited number of single rooms. These spaces
are available on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional fee.
Cancellations and Refunds
Tour participants are subject to the cancellation policies governing
the particular trip in which they are enrolled. See tour details
for cancellation and refund policies. Optional trip cancellation
insurance is available and highly recommended.
Eligibility and Membership
Every Get Up and Go Gals tour is open to all Get Up and Go Gals, their
families, and friends.
Air Arrangements
You will notice that our tours are priced as "land-only or cruise-only”. We've
found that sometimes our member travelers prefer to make their own air
arrangements, so they can choose their favorite airline, take a different
routing, or for other reasons. Of course, our tour operator can and will
still make air arrangements for our travelers as requested, and will
always book “group” air when possible, so that all travelers
can fly together to our tour destinations. Air is available from
most major gateways, call for rates and schedules.
Physical Requirements
To enjoy the group travel experience, participants must be in good health,
and be able to keep up with the pace of the group. The pace does vary
for each itinerary, so please ask if you are unsure. Any physical
restrictions must be reported at the time the reservation is made. Participants
requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied by someone who
can and will provide all required assistance.
