If you’re looking for a travel partner, you can post your trip on-line, along with information about yourself, including contact data, and interested women will get in touch. Or, check out the directory of women who have indicated places where they’d like to visit and you can contact them. They just might be game for an unexpected adventure. And don’t worry about posting information. Only members of the Get Up and Go Gals women’s travel club can access your personal information using a secure password system to ensure privacy.

Homes Away from Home
Homes away from home can pave the way to a world of travel that you never thought possible. You can join our women’s travel club with members from around the world who are willing to open their homes to adventurers like you. Imagine visiting a new place and being welcomed into the home of a like-minded friend who is eager to share her knowledge of the local sights and terrain. She can point you to the best art galleries, quilting and craft stores, natural wonders, restaurants, and more. While this is a great benefit for senior citizen travel club members, it is also open to women as young as 40.

To enjoy this benefit, you must:

1. Be a woman age 40 or older
2. Have a permanent residence
3. Be able to provide a clean, comfortable, and private sleeping quarter
4. Serve either a full or continental breakfast for one or more guest.

Married women can join, but you must let your potential host know if your husband will be accompanying you. Hosts can choose to accept or refuse couples. Lodging gratuity per night is $15 US single; $20 US double; $10 US for each additional person. Non-US hosts may add an additional $10 US to the overall amount. Talk about a discount travel club!
